Mike Spence like Richard Rose was involved in the early days of Rallying in Barbados at the start of the 1970s, when the contestants cars were their everyday cars which they would drive to work the day after the rally.

The only modification maybe to add a sump guard and later on, the addition of timing and distance measuring instruments.
